Mission

Adaptive Cognitive Systems aims to bring the academic rigor of Cognitive Modeling to applied settings to support cognitive engineering efforts to develop usable and effective systems in safety, training, and educational domains. 

Our company traces its roots to basic research in cognitive modeling in academic environments.  We realized that the knowledge and techniques we were using inside the academic research community had great value outside of it, and we're working to give other communities access to the capability to accurately simulate human behavior through software simulation. 

To be useful in an applied setting, though, this capability must be applied with enhanced scalability and deployability as compared to academic platforms, and thus we are working to enhance these aspects of the techniques we use.  At the same time, we continue to collaborate with our academic partners while advancing the state of the art.
